Oak and sycamore have been laminated (stacked) to create ‘rock strata’, revealing what one might see by taking a slice from the land. A British box: the South Downs have been carved into the lid, and with a finger hole beautifully cut in, highest quality inlaid hinges and hallmarked by a tablet of Sterling silver this is a luxurious box to adorn a dressing or console table.
